November and the lead up to Christmas has been a busy period for all of us at Landserv.
Amongst some very interesting and technically challenging contamination assessment and remediation projects, we have continued our efforts toward B-Corp certification. Damien attended a masterclass run by Mindy Leow and the B-Lab team and then enlisted Susan and Brendan to complete and submit our application. We are now mid-way through a review by B-Corp US and are hoping to achieve B-Corp status early in the new year. Independent recognition and continuing to improve our social and environmental performance are key drivers for us seeking this certification. Should we be successful we look forward to being part of the worldwide B-Corp community!
In another step forward for Landserv in November, Damien successfully completed the required course and exams to become a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
